Emma Marson and Bianca Gonzalez came up with a Pros and Cons list of rocking public transportation in San Francisco. I mean it really can be on another level sometimes so here is:The good, bad, and ugly of riding the bus in San Francisco.
Cons:
-having to give up your seat for old people/preggers
-puke/questionable fluids
-groups of school children going on a field trip
-wheelchairs
-loud black girls
-getting robbed
-when you sit down next to someone and they move to a different seat/when you have an empty seat on either side of you and the person chooses to stand (it makes me feel bad about myself)
-when the counter is wrong at bus stops/when there isn't one
-talkative bums (can be a good thing 1% of the time)
-waking up two miles past your stop and hoping no one touched you
-getting on the back and the driver calling you out
-USF bus passes
-hot summer days and B.O.
Pros:
-pausing your ipod to listen to peoples conversations
-eye fucking a boy who is wearing a bruce springsteen shirt (downside: crackheads/minorities eye fucking you)
-finding $$
-night bus parties where you takeover the bus and drink and smoke blunts on your way to or from an actual party (this is a con for other riders at the time)
-puppies
-getting on the back for free
